I really like being able to look at the profiles in terms of username, points, number, etc, but when I want to find someone in particular it's really difficult. What if we could search within those categories also. So, if I typed in "500", under points, you'd come up with everyone who has 500 points. It would just make it a lot easier to see if anyone I know is a member, for example.
Agreed muchly, searchable profiles is a good idea.
Pax
also agreed muchly! searching for something would be a lot easier than looking through the whole darn thing!
for example since their is a bunch of profiles that are not varified on the user profile thing you would be able to search for unvarified accounts.
Hey good idea man!!!
Or how about telling where each user is on the part of the web page which lists who is logged in. That way, we don't have to keep going in to the profile viewer to see who is where on the system. Just a thaught, but then again, what do I know?
Do you know that if you click on the link that says how many users are online (right after the Zone homepage link) it will show you the "whose online" page. There you can tell where everyone is. It's really fun to look at, and took me a while to notice it.
Yeah I didn't notice it either until awhile ago myself!
I think it should be on the homepage myself.
The homepage shows everyone who is online. Click o the x users thing shows more detail, else the homepage would be more cluttered. That list of users at the top may be a problem at some point depending on how popular the site gets. Any other ideas for what to do with it?
hum, got it, what about a link that is called "online users". If you click it the location and list of users will be displayed and I think it does not clutter the home page.
Yes good idea Lou, I was thinking that just as I read your post! online users link when ya logged in, it'll solve all the probs with clutter!
Hey guys. If you don't want to see the list of online users, if you have JAWS 4.5 or above, just navigate to the first heading on the page and you'll never see them. Same for rapid access to QuickNotes.
